Back in December I needed to make two monkeys for a co-worker for Christmas presents…didn’t have a pattern, was too frugle to buy one, etc. So I just started crocheting and this is what I came up with….I’ll post the Baby Brown Monkey pattern in late January. The banana is from a KTB Designs book on etsy.com and it totally makes the whole thing!!! I even gave him a belly button! The signature “TBC unraveled” look for him is on top of his little head. He’ll grown into his ears someday I’m sure. His main purpose right now is the LOVE for his banana that is ALL his. =)
Have made monkeys, frogs, a peacock, a duck, etc. Having fun emailing a new friend of mine on ravelry that lives over the pond. Wish I could knit like she does though. Now I’m working on one of Stacey Trock’s “snails” from her new Crocheted Softies book.
The 36" long dragon turned out fantastic and now I've created more critters, everything from a pony, buffalo, reindeer, ram, octopus, frog, duck, dragon, flying pig, bear and now on to monkeys!!! I have a peacock started but have to get my orders finished before I can experiment and play with new designs!!! Please see my ravelry projects list http://www.ravelry.com/projects/TBoutiqueCritters for pictures and leave me comments, I would love to hear what you'd like to see next.
Well, I completed all of the items mentioned in the post below that were commissioned and then took on another for a 36" long dragon for a co-workers son for his birthday to match his Celtic dragon tatoo. That was quite a task. JJ the Fire Dragon was an easy pattern by Delicious Crochet on etsy.com
